Rapid Gallery Creator 2.2.1 has been released. It has the following changes from the previous version:

- Popups windows are created using HTML, CSS and JavaScript instead of using the standard browser window. This avoids problems with most popup blockers.
- When a gallery was inserted into an existing HTML page, the HTML code was not formatted correctly. This has been fixed.
- Various improvements and fixes of the program user interface.

Rapid Gallery Creator 2.1.2 has been released. It has the following changes from the previous version:

- Support for index and full-size image templates has been added.
- The [Integration] tab has been merged with the new [Templates] tab.
- Rapid Gallery was creating image popups that had insufficient height when viewed on the Firefox browser. This caused an unwanted vertical scrollbar in the popup window. This has been fixed.

Rapid Gallery Creator 2.0.0 has been released. Changes from the previous version include:

- Additional "Output" tab has been added which allows the user to specify explicitly the names of directories holding image files and other miscellaneous pathnames.
- Navigation arrows have been added to popup images which allows the user to browse through all of the images.
- When the gallery is integrated with an existing URL/file the resulting gallery can be previewed without the explicit specification of preview mode. The "Preview mode" checkbox has been obsoleted and removed.
- Various small defects in the generated galleries have been corrected.

Rapid Gallery Creator 1.7.0 has been released. This is a maintenance update that has the following changes from the previous version:

- It is possible now to specify separate descriptions below and above the thumbnail and full-size images.
- A fix to the "Limit zoom" option has been added - the full-size image descriptions are taken into account when checking if the image can be
zoomed-in. In some cases this should prevent appearance of scrollbars in popup windows.
- Vertical scrolling is enabled for the image description fields thus allowing
larger descriptions.
- A bug has been fixed which caused Rapid Gallery to erroneously start the gallery creation process when user pressed Enter while editing the image descriptions.
- A bug has been fixed which caused Rapid Gallery to populate the HTML filenames dialog with duplicate filenames.
- The program font size has been increased.

Rapid Gallery Creator 1.6.0 has been released. This release has following changes from the previous version:

- Image description field has been split into a thumbnail description and a full-size description.
- For each image there is a field to set the for the full-size image page. This setting is active only if the user also enables the "HTML file per image" setting.
- User can specify the position on screen where popups are opened. This position is given as offset in pixels from the top-left corner of screen.
- Optionally a link to a specified URL is added to each index page.

- The user interface has been changed by splitting all settings into several tabbed dialogs.

Rapid Gallery Creator 1.4.0 has been released. This is a recommended upgrade that has following changes from the previous version:

- ALT text is used on the full-size image pages.
- The full-size image pages allow resizing the images while viewing them through the [+] and [-] buttons. This applies both to popup and regular pages.
- User can specify the initial size of the full-size images when creating the image gallery. This is done through the "Initial image width" and "Initial image height" fields in the gallery creator.
- After a gallery is created the program asks the user if he wants to start a web browser and view the newly created gallery.
- The File/Save and File/Load menu items have been replaced by graphic icons.
