I have been programming for over 30+ years...so yup, I'm a geek.
I use EditPlus as a very simple easy-to-use scripting app, so that I can do any html or asp or php etc coding....
I just got Table2CSS - trial version - loaded it nicely onto my win7/64Bit box and yup, it converts perfectly from an older table layout html site to one using CSS.
However, the files that it creates (i.e. index.html) are NOT editable in my EditPlus software - I can open a page alright but you can't even place the cursor on the page...it sits like it's an image rather than an editible text file.
I can however use Notepad or even Word & save it out then as pure .txt i.e. back into an html file...but if I can't use EditPlus - the app's not what I am looking for....
Can anyone help here? Does anyone know why Table2CSS wont' give me a file that I can edit?
Seems VERY strange to me, eh! (note the Canadianism!!!)
